Primary Focus
The Primary Focus Areas of the Tracy Family Foundation are as follows:
- PreK – Grade 12 Catholic School Education
- Capacity Building of Nonprofit Agencies
- Community Centers
Foundation trustees are actively researching potential programs and projects to fund within these Primary Focus Areas. It is anticipated that a majority of our region grant dollars will be directed towards large projects and/or initiatives within the Primary Focus Areas.
Specifically, within the Primary Focus Areas, our research includes:
Catholic Schools: Committee members are focusing research on academic excellence, enrollment, and sustainability.
Nonprofit Capacity Building: Committee members are focusing research on sustainability and active member participation in resources provided by the Center for Effective Nonprofits (CEN) located at Quincy University. In the meantime, the foundation encourages those organizations seeking funding from TFF to utilize the programs and resources offered by CEN. The website for the Center for Effective Nonprofits is www.thecen.org.
Community Centers: Committee members are focusing the initial research on existing community center facilities.
