Grants

The Tracy Family Foundation has 6 grant programs:  Formal Funding, Brown County T.E.A.C.H.E.R. Fund, Catholic Schools Grant Program, Capacity Building, Matching Grant, and Next Generation Grants.

 Formal Funding Grant Program - Requests in Brown County must fall within our areas of intent (education, families, and youth).  Requests from areas outside of Brown County will only be considered if they are tied to one of the following areas:   

  • PreK-12 Catholic School Education
  • Capacity Building of Nonprofits
  • Community Centers
  • Education and Curriculum support for Pre-School – Grade 12 academics.
  • Youth Development in the areas of leadership, character, & Spiritual development
  • Unmet Needs of At-Risk Families

Brown County T.E.A.C.H.E.R. Fund - Requests will be considered if they address improvements needed and identified within the School Improvement Plan, Best teaching practices identified by the school's Instructional Leadership Team, and/or the Instructional Focus of the School.

Catholic Schools Grant Program - This grant program has been established by TFF to provide monetary support to projects intended to positively impact at least one of the Three Pillars of Excellence (Enrollment, Financial Stability, and Academic Excellence) as identified by the Tracy Familiy Foundation.  Eligible schools are the schools that participated in the Institute of School and Parish Development Long Range Strategic Planning process. Capacity Building Grant Program - Requests will be considered if the proposed activity leads to an increase in the organizational effectiveness of an agency due to improvements made in management, leadership, and board governance. Grantees can only receive a Capacity Building Grant one time per year.  

The Matching Grant Program and Next Generation Grant Program are available only to Tracy Family Foundation trustees and Tracy family members. Nonprofit organizations are the beneficiaries of these grants.
