Future
The year was 1998, the first year of funding by the Tracy Family Foundation. Grants awarded to public charities totaled $38,468. Fast-forward 12 years…Grants awarded by the Tracy Family Foundation totaled just under $7,000,000.
Twelve years of providing funding to the non-profits of this region has taught us a great deal about the needs, issues, and challenges within the nonprofit sector. These years of learning have created for our family and foundation an opportunity and a desire to become more strategic in our giving. In a change to our approach, the Foundation has created a strategic plan to enable us to be more effective in our future giving within our Formal Funding Grant program.
In this Strategic Plan, we have created both Vision and Goals for the Tracy Family involvement in the foundation, Brown County in Illinois, and the Region.
